Adobe apps

ChatGPT drives the real app on your Mac, not a copy of it.

Tested on a real Mac

Photoshop: resize and export a photo

ChatGPT opens your image in Photoshop 2026, resizes it and exports a JPG. If Photoshop is waiting on a dialog, ALL tells ChatGPT which one and how to close it.

Exported by Photoshop, 800 by 500 JPG
Ask ChatGPT
Open foto.png in Photoshop, resize it to 800 px wide keeping the proportions and export a JPG next to it as foto-800.jpg. Check the file exists and tell me its size in pixels.
What you get
  • 1600×1000 PNG → 800×500 JPG, 24 KB
  • File metadata names Adobe Photoshop as the creator

Acrobat: export a PDF to text

ChatGPT opens the PDF in Acrobat and uses its own File → Export menu.

Ask ChatGPT
Open contract.pdf in Adobe Acrobat and export it to text from the File menu as contract.txt. Check the file and show me the first three lines.
What you get
  • 2-page PDF → text file with both pages
  • Done through Acrobat's own menu

Premiere Pro: cut a clip and export it

ChatGPT creates the project, imports the clip, trims it and exports H.264 from Premiere.

Ask ChatGPT
In Premiere Pro create a project called demo, import clip.mp4, keep only the first 2 seconds and export it as H.264 to clip-cut.mp4. Measure the duration of the result.
What you get
  • 6 s clip → 2.03 s H.264 + AAC, 1280×720
  • Exported by Premiere Pro 2026

After Effects: animate a logo or a promo

ChatGPT builds the composition by script, looks at still frames, fixes what looks wrong and renders from After Effects. Give it your logo files and a direction.

Ask ChatGPT
Animate my logo (files in the logo folder) as an 8-second intro: dark studio background with warm light, the icon grows in with a light sweep and sparks, the wordmark floats in white. Look at still frames, fix anything that touches or looks flat, then render H.264 from After Effects.
What you get
  • 8 s logo intro and 12 s promo, 1920×1080, 30 fps, H.264
  • Rendered by After Effects 2026; it reviewed its own frames in two rounds

Code and projects

The work you would do in a terminal, from the chat.

Find a bug, fix it, run the tests

ChatGPT searches the code, edits with a real patch (not a rewrite of the file), runs your tests and commits. If a test tool is missing, ALL tells it how to run it in an isolated environment.

Ask ChatGPT
In my project ~/Code/store the tests fail. Find the cause with a search, fix it with a minimal patch, run the tests until they pass and make a git commit with a clear message. Do not touch the tests.
What you get
  • Search, patch, test and commit in one conversation
  • Several repositories and local builds

Build, deploy and check

Run your own build and deploy commands (npm, wrangler, eas, docker) and check the result without leaving ChatGPT.

Ask ChatGPT
Build the site in ~/Code/mysite, deploy it with my usual command and check the live page returns 200. Tell me exactly what you ran.
What you get
  • Uses your own installed tools and logins
  • You see every command it ran

Documents, images and data

Files with a professional finish, checked before they reach you.

Tested recipe on macOS

PDF, Word and PowerPoint

ChatGPT writes the document, converts it, looks at each page and fixes what is cut off or overlapping.

Ask ChatGPT
Make a 2-page proposal in Word with a cover, a summary, a table of three options and page numbers. Convert it to PDF, look at every page and fix anything cut off.
What you get
  • PDF, DOCX and PPTX with tested recipes
  • It checks the pages, not just the file

Excel: clean, summarize and chart a messy sheet

Tested on a Mac in October 2026 with a 20,600-row sheet in disorder. ChatGPT, using ALL’s terminal and files, removed 600 duplicates, corrected 11,770 rows, calculated 204 formulas with no errors, added a chart and an audit sheet, and left the original file untouched.

Ask ChatGPT
Open the Excel file on my desktop, remove duplicates, fix the dates and amounts, add the formulas and a summary sheet with a chart, and add a sheet that lists every change. Save the result as a copy and leave the original untouched.
What you get
  • The total matches to the cent, and you get an audit sheet of what changed
  • Original untouched; the result is saved as a copy
  • Checked on a Mac with files. Not yet verified on Windows, with Excel open live or with Excel in Spanish
Tested recipe on macOS

Read images and scans

Pull text out of a photo or a scanned page and put the items and totals in a table.

Ask ChatGPT
Read the text from receipt.jpg and put the items and totals in a spreadsheet.
What you get
  • OCR, images, video, data and web recipes
  • Runs on your computer

Your computer

Anything you would do by hand in an app.

Open apps, read the screen, free up disk space

ChatGPT can look at the screen, open apps by name (even with versioned names like Photoshop 2026), find what is taking space and list what looks safe to delete, without deleting anything until you say so.

Ask ChatGPT
Look for the biggest folders on my Mac, list the top 10 with sizes, and propose what is safe to delete. Delete nothing until I say so.
What you get
  • Sees the screen, clicks and types real characters on any keyboard layout
  • Lists before it touches anything; tell it to delete nothing and it won’t
Tools

Several computers

If your license has more than one computer, ChatGPT can work on each one by name: build on a server, then bring the result to the machine you are sitting at. Connect ChatGPT to each computer you want to use; moving a file needs both, because ChatGPT sends it from one and receives it on the other, all from the same chat.

Ask ChatGPT
Compile the app on the VPS, then send the build to this Mac and open the folder.
What you get
  • Each step runs on the computer you name
  • The file is encrypted before it leaves the first computer

So it goes well

  • Ask it to verify. End your message with "check the file exists and tell me its size". ChatGPT then proves the result.
  • One step at a time. For apps with windows, ask for short steps and a look at the screen after each one.
  • Mac: turn off Stage Manager while ChatGPT drives an app. Apps tucked into the side strip are hard to see for any automation.
  • Don't touch the mouse while it works. If another window comes to the front, ALL stops clicking on purpose, so it never acts on the wrong app.
  • After Effects: turn on Settings → Scripting & Expressions → Allow Scripts to Write Files and Access Network, once.
  • Photoshop: use the Professional editor (top bar) so documents can be scripted.
  • If an app freezes, a dialog is usually open. ALL tells ChatGPT which one; close it and ask to continue.

Ready to try it? Literally.

Install ALL in a few minutes and connect it to the ChatGPT you already use. Want to see it first? You have 3 free hours: ask for one of these jobs with your own file and watch your Codex bar stay put.
