What is being claimed
ALL does Codex-like work (repositories, code, tests, builds, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and PDF files, folders and the browser) on your own computer, driven from the ChatGPT chat. ChatGPT chat conversations are not included in the plan usage limits that Codex, Work, workspace agents and ChatGPT for Excel share, so this work does not spend them. If you open Codex or Work yourself, that does spend them.
The numbers below come from one test day. They are results of those tasks on that machine, not a promise for every task or every computer.
Method
- Date: October 18, 2026.
- Machine: Windows 11 with Microsoft Excel installed, a clean test computer.
- Who worked: ChatGPT in the regular chat with ALL connected, the way a customer uses it.
- How it was checked: with hidden tests that ChatGPT never saw. Each job was graded by running those tests afterwards, not by what ChatGPT reported about itself.
Three large builds
A spreadsheet engine like Excel, built from scratch
68 of 68 hidden tests passed, in 3 minutes 19 seconds.
A complete online-store backend
61 of 61 hidden tests passed, in about 2 minutes. In the concurrency test, 20 simultaneous purchases of a product with 5 units in stock ended with exactly 5 sold.
A broken invoicing project with 200,000 invoices
22 of 22 hidden tests passed. Processing went from hours to 2.77 seconds.
Office jobs
- Data cleaning: 50,000 rows cleaned, exact to the cent.
- Pivot table: 96 of 96 checks.
- VLOOKUP across workbooks: 300 orders, 0 errors.
- Bank PDF reconciliation: exact.
- Invoice PDFs: 30 of 30 read correctly.
- Documents: a Word report and a 5-slide PowerPoint.
- Folder sorting: a folder sorted and then undone, 12 of 12 checks.
Plan limits: the source
ChatGPT's plan limits (the 5-hour and the weekly one) are shared by Codex, Work, workspace agents and ChatGPT for Excel. OpenAI's Plan limits panel in ChatGPT states: “Chat conversations are not included.” (Spanish interface: “Las conversaciones de Chat no se incluyen.”)
